Have just read a bunch of post and still trying to get an understanding on what a MCS2000 w/ Flashcode of :
Decoding Flashcode: 000002-000000-8
Platform: MCS2000
H36: Startsite Operation
<A HREF='http://www.akardam.net/moto/tools/decode4.pl'>Decoded by the akardam.net FC Decoder v4</A>
Will a MCS2000 with Startsite option work on a Motorola Type II Smartnet System? I do not need any of the advanced features of Smartnet, just basics.
Thank you in advance...

Re: MCS2000 w/ Startsite
If you WIKI it , from reading it in the past , I believe Starsite was the first incarnation of Smartnet, so in theory it should work.

I read that, just want to make sure. Thank you for update. Anyone using a Startsite Radio on Smartnet?

Re: MCS2000 w/ Startsite
Not on an MCS2000, but StartSite on an MTS2000 works on a SmartNet system so I would imagine yes. It is fairly trivial to change the F/C on an MCS2000, so if it doesn't work for you it shouldn't be too hard to get your hands on a codeplug that does SmartNet.
