programming DPL and PL codes

All, I'm having issues programming our LMR's. We are full Astro with AES encryption. I'm trying to put two seperate users on the same duplex net using DPL. I set up the DPL with different codes on two seperate channels and the still come over each other. I do have them set in mix mode for receive. Is there something that I missed? Any help would be greatly appriciated.
