What radios do you own?: HT1250 I saved from the dump

Connect the cables to both radios first, then turn on the target radio (the one being programmed).

Hold the two buttons above and below the PTT while turning the source radio on (the one being cloned).

The cloning process will take a couple of minutes, depending on the size of the codeplug, and there will be a display indication on both radios when the process is complete.

Turn both radios off, disconnect the cable from both, then turn them on and you should be set to go!

Don't worry if you push the wrong buttons, there is no way to brick the radio by cloning. I had a customer that thought he bricked both radios on a repeated system, but as it turns out, his "friend", who programmed the source radio intially, had the wrong PL codes. So I guess that would be my only advice: Make sure the source radio works exactly like you want it to.
