Conventional Spectra Emergency indicator

I have a conventional Spectra. The screen is alternating between the selected channel alias and "NO EMERG." I understand that means an emergency cannot be declared on that channel. How do I clear it? Thanks in advance for the help.

Is this a new radio to you or has this just started?

Did you make any changes to the radio software or cable connections?

Old radio. No changes. Thanks.

Check the db-15 connector, even if the radio isn't programmed for emergency, I have seen this happen when the plug isn't in all the way.
