It is a tune able antenna, The element extensions slide on to the elements and can be locked into place at the correct length for whatever frequency you are using.

I'm sorry if this post sounds extremely basic, but I'm trying to figure out if this antenna is a Directional or Omni Directional Antenna. Sorry for being so basic but I'm still learning Antenna Basics. Its a Yagi 3 element Antenna. Link below. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tunable-Yagi-Base-Antenna-VHF-1...

After talking with some radio guys and seeing some small hints it was possible in the CPS, I had a question about setting up a PM1500 with two bricks. From my experience with working on the MCS2000 this should be possible. I have extended the cable to lengths of about 50 feet, never as far as 85. A few things you want to keep in mind is like you mentioned, make sure you have good solid wiring, and SOLDER EVERYTHING neatly. A poor solder joint can ...

As far as changing frequencies, you would require a new PROM to be built, and Motorola cannot provide that anymore. You are stuck with what you have in that regard. Well apparently they had a VHF Paging system installed and the MSR2000 was the transmitter for it.
Both TX and RX are on the same frequency, with what looks like a small relay on the Antenna.

The buttons on the RIB and TIB cards should all be 'out' for the first 5 channels. The 6 & 7 buttons don't really matter since the system is only 5-channel. Also, any button labeled 'disable' should out as well. If the batteries in the cards are flat, you'll likely have lost all the programmabl...

I can answer #3 - these links are used in lieu of phones lines so tone remotes can connect to the wireline card on a repeater.
