Is the cable Pinout the same for the A7 Control Head and The Clam Shell Control Head?

I am particularly interested in knowing if Pin 18 is still for the Emergency feature on the clam shell head.

Vince, I'm not sure what it is you're trying to do - Pin 18 on the VIP connector on the Advanced Maratrac head is "Emergency" going into the radio, Pin 18 in the radio/cable connector. That means that the radio is going to "look" at 18 going into the radio as the emergency, but there is no provision for an "Emergency" button on the conventional clam-shell head.

If you have a manual,(low or high band either one), look at PW-5271-C, the "Schematic, Circuit Board Diagram, and Parts List for HCN4033A,HCN4034A, HCN4037A, HCN4038A Control Head (Clam Shell) (Sheet 2 of 2)".
