I've been contenplating building one of these for the Suburban to make the RF setup more flexible.
I can have a stainless steel bracket punched out for whatever connector size.
I'm thinking TNC connectors.
Worth doing?

I wonder how much loss you would experience with one these. I have seen it done on Communication Trailers and such, but never in a vehicle. Hmmm. May be interesting.

I'd go with BNC. You can find a lot of cheap BNC patch panels left over from the ThinNet days.
