I've seen the tags they put on a depot repaired radio. It's nothing like the original tags. Black laser printing on white plastic label material, that's all, and cut to size with a pair of scissors. You could do a better job yourself by scanning a label, editing it, printing it out, and putting clear label protection tape over it and gluing it to the radio.
And FYI, flat rate depot repair for an Astro Saber is 330 bucks. Been there, done that. Got a great deal. They replaced the housing and all three circuit boards in the radio, resulting in a new radio with a used frame. Not bad for 330 bucks, man!

Elroy: Instead of tape over the label, I use that stick-on laminating plastic which Staples and Office Depot sells in packages of about ten sheets per box. It REALLY sticks and it's resistant to wearing through. Cutting the labels and the plastic to size is an art but it's still just a learning curve thing like so many other chores.
