Post by Chrisjz »

I seen for auction on EBAY 2 AS VOCON boards. The model number is NTN7749G. Are these 1-Meg VOCON boards? The link is below.

Also, I bought a VOCON from him a week ago.

It came through, and even though it is sold "as-is" mine works just fine....no problems, no damage, just like new.

This one is probably a worthwhile venture.

Well, I bought an XTS2500 vocon from him- he had the installed flashcode and radio model number listed right there:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 2581387514

PART #: NUF6541B (700/800 MHz)
FLASH: 500008-000410-5
RADIO M/N: H46UCH9PW7AN (XTS2500 Model 3)

DSP: R02.50.00
F/W: R02.50.22

Options Installed on this Flashcode:

500008-000410-5

Q806/G806 IMBE / APCO-25 Digital Operation
H14/G114 Digital ID Display
H38/G51 Smartzone Operation
Q173/G173 Smartzone OmniLink Operation
2B1 Future System Enhancement

Not bad for only $25.

So, is the vocon where all the flash options stuff is stored or was that info just referencing what was in the radio?

I'm just curious how that works. Is the feature set flash stored in the microprocessor memory and the DSP flash stored in a separate chip on the vocoder.

didn't mean to hijack the thread, just made me curous

The board I have is RF and VOCON- it's basically the entire "motherboard" of an XTS2.5K- complete with on/off dial, channel knob, buttons, etc. All I have to do is buy the complete housing.
