Speaker Mic question...

Post by Jonathan KC8RYW »

What is the difference between HMN9051, HMN9725, and HMN9030?

Thank you.

The HMN9051 is for the CP100 series portables

The HMN9725 (A,B & C) was replaced by the HMN9030

HMN9030 is for the GTX LTR/LTS 2000 series portables

(The 9051 and 9030 look identical in the catalog picture)

You also forgot to mention the PMMN4004 Speaker Mic, which can also be used on the CP200, GP300 and others as well. It is an oversea's model but hands down it work better than the 9725, or 9030. In fact it has a 2.5 mm jack for audio ear pieces as well. I have seen them on Ebay look for "Motorola CP200 Speaker Mic" or "PMMN4004. I would choose the 4004 any day over the other and older mice made from Motorola.

Be well
