Successfully swapped RF sections from a 438-470 analog Spectra into a UHF HI Astro Spectra. Hacked the RSS moved the freq. down.. all works good. Can't tune it becuse the model # thinks it's in a differnet band and for whatever reason, this 110W ASTRO Spectra's got a D04 codeplug in it?!? Anyone have this SPECIFIC S-RECORD File?? This will fix me up good:
I need an S-RECORD from a: T04RLH9PW9AN.
Any help would be appreciated.
Scott.

MMMMmm
Tried this myself once, there is a huge component difference on the rear of the VCO boards and even though I swapped both RF items from the Standard spectra it gave me fail 001 and even using hacked RSS and changing the operating frequencies this would not go away. Seems as if you have a different set of results than i had. Mine was low UHF spectra parts in Hi UHF Astro Spectra.
maybe I was missing some thing here but I gave up !!
