Squelch settings on xts3000 III

Post by SNO-MAN »

Good day to all, I have a xts3000 III and a detailed service manual and I need to loosen up the squelch in analog mode ( and it wouldn't hurt to touch-up the rcvr) and suggestions or comments would help.
Also found the radio was only doing 2.3 watts, ok now.

It's all done in the CPS under the individual personality screen for RX channels.

Look for Squelch fine tune, the default is something like 6 which typically gives an opening around 10 or 11 dB SINAD.
