HELP* S-1344AAC DEV METER SVC / OPR Manual *Please

Post by Monty »

HI:

I have come accross a pretty nice item, and its
a fully auto-matic Freq and Dev Meter Motorola
made a while back.

Of course the Monkeys @ Schamberg Can't find a
Manuel for it. Typical.

Anyhow, Please if ANYONE out there has a Operators
Manuel, Service Manuel, and or any information on this
unit, I would,be will to pay for postage both ways, and
return the favor.

Unit works perfectly, but before I offer it for sale, I would
like to be able to offer the support for it.

What radios do you own?: What's a radio?

For those interested, this is an audio to 512MHz freq counter with the auto tuned dev meter. The manual is NLA & the unit is NOT supported anymore by the service depot.

Monty,
No promises, but I will try to find the user/service manual for you. I had one in Elgin before I was transferred. I hope they didn't throw it out.

WOW, I can remember praying for one of those back in the early 70's. ( I never got my prayer answered, tho.)

HI Will:

I like them because they were ahead of their
time,

It " Auto-Tunes " the Entire Range, and when
it locks onto a signal, it displays the Freq & Measures
the Dev.

A super handy tool if you need to know the Freq
of a HT or Mobile and you can see if it works without
having to " Hunt " for the Freq.

Displays PL tone freqs too !

I now have ( 2 ) of them, plans are to sell one
after I make sure its properly calibrated.

HI Will:

Well , if you are perhaps serious, I will be willing
to sell it to you on " as it sits ' basis.

I just got the Motorola Touch Up paint for the Cabinet, and
the onlu other thing it could use is some Brand New BNC
Panel Jacks.

Other than that, its Super Clean inside, never has been
technicianized, and works, perfectly,

Great for seeing immediately if you Mobile or portable
is working, and no need to hunt and guess for the Freq
Either.

All one needs to do, is transmitt, and listen.

Reads PL freqs too !
