HT-1250 Problem

Post by kydeputy1463 »

One of the guys on the department was programming a HT-1250, and for whatever reason he put in a repeater access code when he was configuring the 'plug. When he wrote the radio everything seemed ok until he tried to transmit. Now it will only transmit on one channel. When I tried to reload the original 'plug the repeater access code stayed with the radio. Not even a blank 'plug will disable it. I know its not much information but it's all I have right now. Scratching head until further notice. :-?

If it's less than 2 years old, send it to the depot.

If you find a blank codeplug for that model, dump it in, then try to reprogram it.

Try to do a firmware upgrade, too.

if you can, send me the codeplug, I will look at it and see if I can see anything obviously wrong....

What model, bandsplit? Keypad?

I might have a blank codeplug.

Thanks all, but it is on it's way to the depot as of this morning. Sheriff's office is paying the bill. No longer my concern.
