CDM 1250 and signaling

Post by LCFD1 »

Have a question that hopefully somebody can answer.

I have a CDM1250 set up for QCII decode on one channel. When it receives valid tones, it alerts as normal. I also get the "Call Received" on the display. It wont go away until there is a keypress. I want it to be either self clearing or non existent. I can make the alert tones autoreset. The QCII is not tied in with the squelch at all, its CSQ all the time.

I think I have tried most all combinations of options in the software, but probably missed something.

Any ideas?

A couple other questions about this radio:
1) How fast does it scan channel lists, ie. what is the time per channel?
2) How many aliases can be in the phonebook for MDC decode? Is there a point when it starts getting slow? I want to put in around 125 IDs

Thanks!
