Opinions wanted on the Relm RPV599A

Post by freema22 »

Hi folks. I know this is a Motorola board, but I would like some straight answers on some gear. I was browsing eBay earlier, and came across a Relm RPV599A package really cheap. I was not familliar with this radio, and was curious as to your thoughts about it. I am not looking to replace my Visar just yet, but you never know when that thing is going to kick the bucket. Thanks for your input.

I just sold 60 of the Alpha-numeric models about 3 monthes ago, and have heard nothing but good reviews so far, audio quality is good, and all the kenwood 70 series products will work with these radios. The only thing i would have to say from a dealer standpoint in the software, not very user friendly.
