The 1991 vintage "GP Utility" I have dies with a divide by zero when I try to run it rebooted into DOS from my Win 98 machine. Anyone know a DOS version that it might be compatible with? (Or is this possibly a hardware issue?)

It does that on my 533 Pentium, but is okay on my old 286!

Try a s-l-o-o-o-o-o-w-e-r processor.

Are you "rebooting into MS-DOS Mode" from the shutdown menu? I've seen the same error with I20R, Maxtrac & Desktrac RSS on faster machines in that mode. If so, a boot disk made in your older machine will probably work much better. You can also try the "MS-DOS Mode for Games with EMS & XMS support", located under the C:windows directory in your Win98 computer. Works for me every time.

Thanks, I'll give your suggestions a try.

"Booting" or restarting in "DOS Mode" from windows 95 OSR2.1 and up DOES NOT give you real DOS. Use a boot disk floppy disk with DOS 5.0, or 6.xx to run your older (better) RSS. Also run at no faster than 25 mhz 486 machine. If you get the "Devide by " error the computer is too fast.
Another not here ALL GiaTronics equipment software, i750, Marti2000 ect must be run on a computer that does not have windows 9.x or later on it, it can corrupt the data for the device.
