Well, I tried to do something new with my MT2000, but I am stumped. I figured I'd ask this question here, even though I probably know the answer.

The radio is a 160 channel H01KDH9AA7AN VHF model. I only had about 95 or so programmed in it, and I got this wild idea to put all of the 2 meter repeater freqs in it (about 80 or so in my area). So I tried it with the RSS, and it let me add over 200 personalities. So I got excited.

Then, I tried to put them in the zones...It would have meant me having 13 zones including the stuff I had all ready. But I got to a point where it said "additional insertions not allowed".

Any suggestions?

If the top display only allows 3 zones on the ABC switch, how do you get to the rest of the zones?

Go into your menu programming and add ZONE into your menu. Then call it up with the right or left arrow key.

Yeah this is not a top display radio, I forgot to mention that. So thats how I get all of the zones.

Like I said, I've tried setting up the zones after creating all of the personalities. The codeplug holds all of the personalities but just wont let me put them all into the zones.

Not enough info out there on the 255 channel hack, or I would go there. Can't seem to figure it out.
