XTS3000 DPL scan problem
I have a XTS3000 800 radio. The problem is I have several conventional frequencies programmed with DPL tones which I cannot receive on while in scan mode. If I turn off scan, I can receive without any problems. I don't have any problems scanning conventional frequencies programmed with PL tones.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The DPL is 606. That is the correct DPL for this system.
The radio is using Firmware 07.07.00 and DSP N07.03.20
Model H09UCH9PW7BN
FLASHcode 591008-4F1E00-9

As far as calibration goes, I have had it checked yet but it receives fine if it isn't scanning.
Thanks!

I set to "1" and it didn't have any effect on it.
I have three channels in this portable with the same 606 DPL and I can't receive on any of them while scanning unless I have one of them set as the priority channel. If it's a non-priority channel, I don't hear a thing from the repeater or any of the three other portables I've used while trying to figure this weird problem out.

fyi - i had a similar problem with an mcs 2000 mobile.
it had to go to the depot for replacement of one of the flat-pack ic's...

While I can't say I have a good idea as to what the problem is, just for the hell of it lengthen the value of the parameter "Time between pri samples" to 2000 msec.
If your scan list is large enough, it is possible that, after detecting valid freq on a non-priority channel, the radio doesn't sit on the channel long enough to decode valid DPL before being hauled back to the priority channel.
In theory, if this is a problem it should also affect a non-priority channel with PL as well, since the time required for PL decode (about 275 msec) is the same as that required for valid DPL decode. But just for the hell of it, lengthen that parameter and see what happens.

I had it set to 500 msec. I moved it up to 2000 msec and it didn't have any effect on the problem.
Thanks for the suggestion.
I wonder if there's anyone monitoring this thread that has firmware 07.07.00 and DSP N07.03.20 that would test it. That should tell us if it's my radio or a firmware problem.
