OK, here goes. I have 14 Motorola Spirit pagers that are on 155.175Mhz. I need to put 7 of them on 154.355 and the other 7 on 154.965. Could sombody help me out with this? Thanks.

Try contacting P+W Service at http://www.pwservice.com They recrystal and retone pagers for a reasonable price.

The IF is 17.9 MHz.

So, the formula is:

F carrier = 3(F crystal) + 17.9

or...

F crystal = (F carrier - 17.9) / 3

This works for the VHF-Hi Spirit T&V pager.

While T&V pagers are on my mind,
KC8GRQ, what was the name of the repeater controller that encoded QCII? I obviously forgot.

Are you referring to the variations of the RIC? The ZR320 and ZR340, built by Zetron could do QCII selective signalling, plus generated the PL/DPL for the TX. This complicated matters if you also wanted to add a remote adapter because a basic PTT did not turn on the PL/DPL generator.
