Systems Saber RF power

Post by kc2dla »

Can the RAT buttons or front keypad be programmed to change the power setting of the current personality or zone?

Is there a menu selection to accomplish this? (I doubt)

Any tips on how to change the RF power "in the field"?

Power state cannot be commanded from a button or menu item.

There are four power states that can be defined, on a per channel basis: Hi, Lo and SP1 and SP2 (the latter two being adjustable in the F2 screen). The only want to have user power selection is to program a channel twice, with different power states for each.

Thank you RKG, this is the info I was after. I am used to this inconvenience when programming Sabers and I wanted to find out if I will have to do the same with a newly acquired Systems Saber.
