My other post on this was worded wrong.If you use an aftermarket amp. speaker do i need to hook it up special.This is a 32 ch 16p MAXTRAC. I was told you may burn up a board if you hook it up wrong.

You will need to determine if the amplified speakers input is refferenced to ground or is balanced. If in doubt, use a 16 ohm resistor from pin 1 to 16 on the radios accessory connector and a coupling capacitor from pin 16 to the speaker amps input so you do not short the radio audio amp to ground. Pick up ground and 12 volts switched for the spkramp from the 16 pin connector.
