Hi there.
On your pix of both astro/saber cables it shows that you need to connect DB25 (1) to a ground on the cable end that connects to the radio. I have an old mic cord and there are 3 contacts above the 12 that are at the bottom. 1 is for the RF (3 small pins), 1 holds the connector together (phillips head), and 1 is the screw that connects the cable to the radio. Which one do I use?

HI:

With resects to the Saber Plug , the outer
Contacts are the Grounds, and the Center
is the main RF I/O port:
