Hi All,
The ambulance company I work for is in the process of planning to be part of an accountability system in our coverage area. Because of this, I am trying to get a feel from you folks as to what kind of HT's are out there today that are as dependable at the MT2000.
We had a few 1250's and were not really happy.
What we are going to need eventually is about 12-15 VHF HT's that are pretty user friendly. Signalling will be a must.
I would greatly appreciate your comments and suggestions.
Thanks in advance!
Doug

Go to http://www.mot.com and then select business/government then select radios and portables.
They have the new PR400 series which does not look that bad but I have not had a chance to play with one as of yet but I am working on it.

Thanks Much...
Hi All,
Thanks for your comments.
We have had the HT1000 and the MT2000 for many years now but they are getting harder to locate.
Maybe I will hit it right and some area will be going trunk and want to get rid of a bunch of HT1000's or MT2000's.
Really appreciate the comments!!
Take care,
Doug
