I see. Well, in that case, it's not very hard at all. Once you play with it a little bit & get used to it, many models are very similar. For the DOS stuff, it basically breaks down into Jedi-style RSS & Maxtrac-style RSS. Models like Astro Saber, Astro Spectra, XTS3000, VisarPP, MCS/MTS2000 are almost identical. HT1000 is a little different, but follows the same format. Models like the Maxtrac, GM300, GP300/350, P110, GTX, LCS/LTS2000, SM50/120, SP50 are completely different from the Jedi-style, but are similar to each other. Then there are some that are unique to themselves, such as HT600/P200, Saber & Spectra (non-Astro), etc. Conventional stuff is relatively easy, although signalling such as MDC can make it a lot more work. Trunking can be much more involved, take your time to really get to know it before you do it yourself. It's best to get a hold of some RSS with a few archives (computer file of a radios information) & play around. Even without a radio to program the information into, you can learn a lot. Send me an email if you're interested in learning some more about it all.

Almost forgot, all models of the Windows CPS are very similar to each other as well, the main differences are between the conventional & trunking radios.
