That's got to be a support for some sort of HF curtain array, for SW broadcasting etc? Note all the wires trailing down the mountain behind the tower...those are definitely not guy wires!

Is this in the US?

There are/were towers that looked like that for the US military that were (?) S-Band radars? I will have to look up the message, but they were recently discussed on a cold war comms group..

I checked with a couple of people, and they identified it as a decommissioned weather radar tower. Where is this one located? Apparently there isn't too many left.
