HELP PLEASE...

Post by njemt129 »

I was wondering if anyone out there can tell me the answer to the following question... I am looking to purchase an Astro Saber UHF to put to use with my rescue sqaud. I found a radio, the model # is H04RDC9PW5AN and The Factory ID is ASTRO, The serial number is 310AWJ0619. I know from the model # that it will work with the band split I need, but I need to know if this model is capable of digital so I can use it with the towns new project 25 system. Will this radio do??? Thanks in advance.

The M link says it will. I would think the Project 25 is standard, but I am new to the Astro board.

I would tell you that a serial number of "310AWJ0619" would indicate a pretty old radio.

Chances are it's an older legacy VSELP model.... however, I could be wrong.

As indicated, read the Newbie guide posted in this forum. It is very important to know what you are getting.

Hope this helps.
