Need help w/ HT1250 & QCII

Post by Kleptein »

I am attempting to program 2 channels in an HT1250 as QCII decode only, so that they can be set on those channels and only open up when there is a call. I understand that I need to put the QCII information in the signalling tab, and it is set for TPL/DPL Required for Data, but I still get all the voice over the repeater when it is on that channel.

How do I make it ONLY decode the QCII call?

Thanks!

Under the signaling tab, change the Signaling Sqeulch type to "and" (Requires QCII "AND" CSQ/TPL/DPL to unmute, as opposed to requirning QCII "OR" CSQ/TPL/DPL to unmute)

Be careful using "TPL/DPL required for data" unless you are certain that the encoding radio is transmitting TPL/DPL under the QCII tones. You should probably only check that field if false alerts are causing you problems.

So simple! And I was so close! Thanks a million, that makes sense.
