Astro Saber question

Post by njemt129 »

I just purchased two Motorola Astro Sabers. My question is this... It is a model three which has 255 channels. How many banks of channels is that? For example on my mts2000, there are three banks of 16 channels for a total of 48 channels. How is that Astro Saber. Thanks to all in advance.[/b]

From what I remember you can have more than 15 banks as long as the total number of channels in the banks does not exceed 255.

I think you might be asking 'how do I access the 255 channels'? If so, you need to enable one of the programmable buttons as zone select, then scroll through the zones you create in the RSS. If you want to be able to use the 16-position channel selector, then you would only want 16 channels in each zone. If you enable one of the buttons as channel select, then you could in theory have a single zone with all 255 channels in it. You can basically set it up many different ways, to your liking.
