xts3000 programming

xts3000 programming

ok, so i have an xts3000 now and cps v2... and a cable.. i can read the radio data, so thats working

i have a syskey for the system i want to program the radio for... but im having trouble receiving traffic..

its s 3600 system with astro talkgroups.. any tips appreciated...

i have talkgroups prog'd in the the trunking personality..(its a vhf system) but no audio is being received.

in the trunking system setup i also have the local control channel setup with proper spacing in tx and rx ranges (ctrl channel is prg'd as same freq for tx and rx start/end.

in MY EXPERIENCE (with uhf obt trunking)

if your radio programming does not EXACTLY MATCH the sysetm parameters...

IT DOES NOT WORK


chances are something somewhere in your codeplug is not right. this is especially true in VHF since they have a habit of using multiple channel ranges.

thanks for the tip... working now :-)


this is a model 1 radio... any tips for programming scan lists?

can you assign lists to the three postion switch?

this is a multi zone wide area network.. can i program in multiple control channels so i can receive coverage while travelling around?
