Astro Saber MODAT

I've got an Astro Saber III and can't seem to unprogram the MODAT function on the radio.

It seems the radio requires at least one of the conventional personalities to use MODAT..... I don't have any requirements to use MODAT, just was wondering when I disable the function I get invalid fields.... I only need MDC signaling... I'm using MDC on all my channels except one.

What happens when you try to change the signaling options under the conventational pers. screen?

If I change it from MODAT to MDC I get invalid fields for that last channel

Ok, have you set up all the MDC options etc in the MDC systems settings? Sounds like somewhere something is linked to that MODAT setting that you have not removed yet. Go thru EVERY screen in RSS that you can get into and look for it. Emergency revert, scan, etc etc.
