Programming ? Minitor III

Post by RVC Truckie »

I did a search of the message board to no avail .. when I am programming my 2 ch M3 with a frequency within the band split of the radio it gives me an error message that the frequency must be divisible by .05. Can anyone advise how to correct this problem? I was trying to input a frequency of 453.6875 and that error message comes up ... Thanks John

I may be mistaken but a Minitor 3 will only do 25 Khz frequencies. So that I think is the reason. I don't know any pager will do 12.5 frequency.

I think you will find that if you round it, it will receive. Perhaps not the best, but it should do it.

Yep. Minitor III can not take a .XXXX frequency. It can only .XXX. Make it as close as you can and hope for the best. This is what sucks about narrowbanding. I think the Minitor IV will take the frequency but it is still a wideband receiver. I'm sure one the rebuilt POS minitor V comes out, it will solve all the worlds paging problems...

Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"
