ht1000 programming cable

hi, every one, i am try to modify a ht1000 hand mic for programming cable, but i have no idea how to open the connector it seens stronger than the saber's , any one have any idea or skill can teach me?

With the pins facing you, stick a small-tipped flathead screwdriver down the straight side of the connector towards the cable end and pry the tip inwards gently, then repeat on the shorter side @ the same end, then pull towards the cable gently and the plastic/rubber will come right out. Be sure not to pull the rubber separately, as you may rip it and it'll be useless.

Then, starting @ the end furthest from the cable, pry upwards on the board gently while pushing the smooth part of the cable into the connector until you get the circuit board all the way out.

I just did this on mine as I typed it, so as long as you're CAREFUL, you won't have any problems. Just reverse to replace. You'll have to remove the solder traces between the pins on the board and test all pins to ensure you don't have any continuity between pins.
