Need help on IDing these two signalling (.mp3)

This one is recorded on 158.070Mhz, it sounds like some encryption or MDT device, notice the MODAT-like tone at the end. I tried to use the FCC database to search for any licensee on this frequency but no hit.

The second one is a signalling from a vertex radio, does anyone know what is the name of this signalling?

The first sample is pager tones. Several formats are present, 5-tone is the last one. They don't sound like normal. It sounds like they're being run through one of those low end security devices that make you sound like donald duck.

The second one is high speed GE Star.

158.07 used to be assigned to the old VHF mobile telephone service. It is frequently redeployed as a common-carrier paging frequency. I would go down that path with it first. To me, it almost sounds like it could be POCSAG. But I haven't listened to paging streams in so long, I could be very wrong.

The second one is GE*star - GE's signalling protocol. It's along the lines of Motorola's MDC600. In New York, you'll find that protocol most commonly used by NYSP (where other protocols aren't currently in place by local agencies) and the NYS Thruway Authority.

The first signal is a paging link system. The digital paging on the links sounds a little different from the actual paging frequency signal. The link is an analog modem vs the FSK digital signal sent to the pagers. The mobile side of the old IMTS frequencies is sometimes used for paging links to the associated base frequency and the mobile frequency does not always show up in the FCC data base.

158.07 is old IMTS channel "JR" and the associated base frequency is 152.810.
