1225 Series RSS Question

Post by Flatbush97 »

Anyone know if v3.1 is compatible with Windows 2000? I have no problem with any of the pro series using the same com port but the 1225 series does not pass the comm test. I was able to use Windows 95 to program the radios that I needed with the same setup. Does anyone know of any issues?
Thanks

I am using Windows 2000 (Ver 5.00.2195) SP1 on one computer and Windows XP Pro (build 2600) and have had no problems with ver 3.1 on any of the systems that I have had it on (I prefer the XP based system). A friend of mine also had it running on NT (SP6?) with no problems as well.

You may have to uninstall (prior to installing or upgrading to 2000 or XP) and then reinstall the RSS.

The only thing I havn't done is read and write to a radio. I have read code plugs and played with them with no problem. However, I can't see there being a problem as the RSS boots up and runs just fine...

Hope this helps you out :D
