I picked up an R2200 from Monty about a year ago. It's a great basic monitor and has already paid for itself. As I find myself involved in more and more complex projects, I've been seeing a need for a tone generator to plug into it. A basic two-tone generator where I can dial in my tone freqs and timing would work for 99% of my needs.
Anyone have any ideas? Manufacturers? Model numbers? Where to get one? I'm not looking to break the bank - my unemployment check can only be stretched so far. You have to spend some money to make money though.

Moto R-1150 series. 'Code Synthesizer II,' to be exact. I bought mine on Greed-bay about two or so years ago for around $100. Someone on the board may even have one up for grabs.Bob wrote:I picked up an R2200 from Monty about a year ago. It's a great basic monitor and has already paid for itself. The CS-II will do just about anything you want -- DTMF, all kinds of paging including two-tone, DTMF, IMTS, etc.
Happy hunting, and may you find new employment quickly. I was on the unemployment rolls for over a year, so I know what it's like.
