Did you already try calling Ritron? (800) USA-1-USA (872-1872)

Factory is in Carmel, Indiana; Building radios in the US?? What a concept! I do believe they are the last one.

If I remember, the programming cable is the same as the mobile with the RJ45 telco connector on the radio end. I have the diagram 'somewhere'.

Ok here’s what I got. From what I read you can use quiet a few program cables for this repeater.

1. The ICOM OPC478 programming cable can be found here http://skinny.8k.com/icom.html I have not tried this cable but should work.

2. The Alinco DJ-X10 programming cable looks to be the same as the DJ-191, DJ-491 cables found here http://ratlodge.com/batlabs/albums/user ... o_icom.jpg this is the one I am using just because I had it laying around.

3. The last one I have see people talk about is a plan old GP300/P110 cable with a 3.5 stereo plug.

Software can be downloaded form the ritron site here http://www.ritron.com/tech/ just note that with out a software S/N you can only read the radio.

One thing you have to do (witch I did not know and spent a week pulling my hair out until I saw in the RSS a command for resetting the radio to operation mode and put two and two together) is that you must hold down the reset button and plug in the repeater to put it in programming mode and read it in 5 seconds. After that program the repeater with your settings and press the “r” command to reset the radio.
