Source for Motorola Parts

Post by Ra »

Can you old timers tell me where you get your parts?

Do you go to Motorola or an MSS?

Who do you find the easiest to work with?

Any source help from the pros will be appreciated!

I will be needing parts all the time, and it has been years.

What a great Forum this is!

Cheers!

1-800-422-4210 Motorola Parts & Aftermarket Acc's. Div.
If you're a repair facility or reseller ask them what's currently required
to open a NSO account (to get a discount on your parts).

I buy my parts from the local MSS.
We ahve a good relationship that allows me access to technical assistance in selecting the correct part. They help me with alternatives that are not allways in the manuals.
Sure I could buy it cheaper from time to time if I shopped around, but "the bitter taste of poor service remains long after the sweetness of low price".
