Newbie Astro Question: L04QKH9PW9AN ID help please?

Post by seleong »

Sorry for the "newbie" Astro question, but I was wondering if this radio can be used in the HAM or higher frequency range?

Model # L99DX+357L
ID # L04QKH9PW9AN
FCC ID# AZ492FT4786

This radio is enclosed in what looks like a Desktrac case, and is labeled Motorola Astro on the case. It has a jumper from the secure faceplate (mic) connector to a circular (hirose) connector on the face of the case. The radio itself has the two normal DB25 connector faceplate.

Curious if there are any limitations on RSS or other things before I apply power / RIB.

Thanks very much in advance!

Steve
