XTS3000 H09SDH9PW7BN Range Question

This radio is 470-520. WIll this radio go to to 440.000 or not ?

From what I gathered, its 50-50. Some VFO will allow it, others will not in the same rated band split. My guess would be 20-70 that it will work, some have.

I thought the XTS's range was 403-470, and 450-512mhz. That sounds like an odd split unless it was a custom radio for someone.

Check out the model specific information around Batlabs, it explains the out of band hack. It's pretty easy to mod the MDB file for the DSS RSS.
