Lets see whether I remember this right...

H - Hand Held Portable
09 - XTS3000
U - 806 to 870 MHz
C - 1.0 to 3.9 Watts
S - No clue. It doesn't look right. It's usually A thru H....unless.....
9 - Programmable
B - Conventional/Duplex
W - Programmable
7 - Expanded Package
B - Product revision code
N - Standard package model

Hope this helps

the S designator for the 6th digit in the HT decodes as a non keypad, non display version, model I (one) XTS3000. 48 channel only radio. But it is the flashcode that I would ask for to see what it is capable of.

That should read the S designator describes the radio as a non keypad standard control radio, not sure if it has a display or not but I've never seen an XTS3000 like that, it sounds like a model I with a display but all model ones i've EVER seen HAD model numbers like H09UCC9PWXXX. Does the seller have a picture of the HT ?
