dx kvl with des-ofb

dx kvl with des-ofb

I think this question has been asked before but here goes. Can I use a t3011dx kvl to load my des-ofb modules for a xts3k or astro saber ??

Yes. A DX model DES/DES-XL KVL will load a DES-OFB module in AS3 as well as XTS3000. DES, DES-XL and DES-OFB use the same key. It's just a differnet mode of the algorithm. Keep in mind that if you load the same DES key in a DES-XL and a DES-OFB module, they will not be able to communicate, because the algorithm mode is different.
