Generic flex/ribbon cables?

Generic flex/ribbon cables?

I need one of these:

Its a 9pin (female I am assuming) to a 9pin flat connector on the MW520 motherboard. Is there such a cable that could be "generic" as this one is NLA from Moto?

The problem with generic flexes is that there are about as many connectors around as there are shapes of flex. I went down this road before while looking for a new display cable for my Apple eMate 300.
