Imbedded data stream in P25...

Is the imbedded data for peripheral devices that's part of P25 infrastructure related, or is it possible to send it peer-to-peer? What interface is used with the Astro Spectra, if there is one?

If you asking about the data packet option, its infrastructure related. The only "data" that I have seen that doesn't require infrastructre is the TMS option on the XTS5000's which allows SMS between radios, etc. If there is something else out there, I don't recall.
