XTS5k Internal Mic problem

XTS5k Internal Mic problem

Ok, my VHF XTS5k would not read with cps, it crashed it. Well got that resolved. It apparently was a radio problem. Well I found out the the internal mic is not working as well. I get dead air when I key up. If I use a speaker mic, audio out is fine. I have confirmed this is a hardware problem. I have eliminated the housing/electronics as being the problem. Tried a new case with the electronics in it and same issue. Seems something in the INTERNAL mic path has gone south. The vocon is the NNTN4717D.

Anyone have any ideas.
