I have a saber that until i made a few channel changes was working fine. After reprogramming it, almost all the channels are open carrier. Receives radio traffic fine when someone transmitts, but goes right back into just fuzzz. The channels that I changed work fine, all the others that i didnt change and messed up.
the radio is a saber 100 channel, non systems saber. R06.09.01 software, new battery two months old

check your squelch setting in the RSS . It may have been set too low..

They are in the radio settings F2 then F4 . Then check the squelch settings Its usually a 5-6 then set it to select all F6? i think. My programming laptop is at the station,

I would definitely start with the squelch setting in the
radio, but before I did that I'd first turn off the computer
and see if that alleviates the problem. If it doesn't then
I'd dig into the RSS setup and check and tighten all of
the squelch settings. Some of the older computers really
do produce a ton of spurious RF signals. At my desk I
can't use 146.52 when my Dell Dimension desktop is
running, which is 24/7.
