Audio on Astro Saber I

Post by rangerfourever »

Just got my UHF Astro Saber I back from the shop. The radio is set to have priority follow the channel selected. When scanning, the audio "clips". Is this because of the priority and the sampling rate being too short? What is a good priority sampling rate that allows for priority calls but does not "clip" the audio.

Thanks

Um thats how priority scan works. You will always hear a chop if getting a non priority rx and it goes back to sample for prioirity activity.

Ok, I will have the shop redo the scan setup. Have not noticed it on our mobiles but that may be my old ears.
