Learning to use the R-2670 effectively

Post by pmwrightjr »

I have been out of radio work for quite awhile but our radio shop is now part of my responsibility and, as a result, I need to develop an effective working relationship with our 2670 analyzer. What is the best source of information - is there formal training available? Are there manuals that are useful?

I have been looking at the AutoTest software for our Astro and XTS5000 radios and we may go that way as well, but what I would really like is to develop the ability to do sweeps of our duplexers and combiners.

Can any R-2670 veteran point me in the right direction?

thanks!

paul

You definitely want to have the R2670 operators manual 6880309F17.

You might also check with your Motorola rep or with General Dynamics to see if you can get a copy of their training CD course number DEP108.

I agree, if you have that nice service monitor, get the manual.
And if you can, the training CD would really be worth it.
