DGT9000 how to with spectra.

Post by willard1346 »

I have a DTG9000 model #L1650A that I would like to hook up to a VHF Spectra A5. What all do I need?

IIRC there's an interface box that goes between the two.

Not sure if it's absolutely necessary, but I've never seen a non-consolette spectra connected to a DGT without it.

I have "splitter" boxes and cables if that helps. the units I have plug into the back of a consolette, however...

So you guys are thinking that the consolette is a requirement? I know there is an audio interface board inside that does something for the accessory port?

Yes; it does hook up to the back of a consolette.

Does the controller require programing of any type or is just plug and play?
