Hello,
I was trying to use MDT Monitor the other day, and then I realized that the system I was trying to decode was RD-LAP.
My question is; from what I know now, MDT monitor can not decode RD-LAP. Is this correct?? Also, does anybody know of a program that will decode RD-LAP prefferably with an interface like MDT mon, but I know that's streatching it.
Thanks,
OT: RD-LAP Monitor

RD-LAP comes in to speeds, 9.6 RD-LAP & 19.2 RD-LAP RD-LAP stands for Radio Data Link Access Procedure. My website that is currently being worked on you can check it out @ http://www.ag-communications.com/mdtinfo.html. This may or may not work since it is being worked on. You can email me at [email protected] and I can see what I can do to help you out....
I maintain a Motorola Private DataTac 800MHz system( 2 channels) that uses the RDLAP 19.2 protocol. It is used by our PD. To the best of my knowledge no one has been able to decode it. Many have spent years trying to. I am told it is due to a complex algorithym design. One of the engineers that helped design it said he can not decode it. (?) Whether he was BS'ing the class or not, I don't know. If you find a way, I would be very interested in knowing how its done.
